The benefits of membership
By joining EPICOH, you will become part of a worldwide network of occupational health researchers committed to improving the health and safety of working people. EPICOH is committed to building capacity in occupational epidemiology around the world and supporting early and midcareer researchers to become leaders in this field. EPICOH holds an international conference in two years out of three and in the third years it arranges sessions at the triennial ICOH Congress. Membership of EPICOH means that you are eligible for reduced registration at these conferences and the Congress.
EPICOH members can also benefit from a discounted personal subscription to Occupational and Environmental Medicine (OEM), the official journal of EPICOH, which is published by BMJ. Members can contact support@bmj.com to purchase a subscription at a 50% discount on the usual personal rate (print and online, or online only).
To become a member of EPICOH, it is necessary to first become a member of ICOH (go to ICOH, how to apply), as EPICOH is one of the Scientific Committees of ICOH. In order to join ICOH, you will need to have the support of three ICOH members. You may contact any member of ICOH to support your application. All members of the EPICOH Management Group are ICOH members, so you may also email any of them to support your membership.
Once you have joined ICOH, you can contact the Secretary of the EPICOH Management Committee at Damien.McElvenny@iom-world.org, to join EPICOH, attaching a mini-biography or short CV. There is no additional membership fee.
